BOARD OF DIRECTORS
LISA HARRIS
Lisa has spent the majority of her life serving in the nonprofit sector. Her nonprofit work has included adoptions and foster care, homeless teens, adults struggling with addictions/recovery, incarcerated women with children, and wounded veterans.
While serving on a mission trip to Haiti the desire to provide showers for those without access was born. After sharing the idea with a few other passionate folks, Free Flow gained traction and grew from providing shower and laundry services to the concept of a mobile village dedicated to providing basic needs for the homeless communities in NE Florida.
She is an advocate for positive life change and the promise of hope (at any stage - at any age). She is most comfortable in the uncomfortable spaces of people's lives. Her passion is supporting, encouraging, and equipping others for success.
Lisa holds a B.S. in Communications from WV State University and a M.A. in Clinic Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
BETH WHITMAN
Beth has 35 years of combined accounting experience in the non-profit and for-profit sectors. She is currently serving as the Accounting Services Director for a veteran service organization.
"There are a majority of homeless people that have been employed, who want to be employed and are capable but simply fall on hard times for whatever reason. Many can’t find employment due to their inability to bathe or wash their clothes. I’m inspired and compelled to act. I think helping one person is a win. We have the ability to make a meaningful impact and provide an opportunity for real change."
Beth is a graduate of West Virginia University with a B.S. in Business Administration.
KRISTINA RICE
Kristina has been working with veterans and active-duty military members for 7 years. Her passion for working with the homeless population began in graduate school and continued when she started working with homeless veterans. She made it her purpose to locate local and national resources to bridge gaps in services and provide homeless veterans support in their most difficult times.
She is currently serving in the United States Army as a Behavioral Health Officer. She previously worked at a veteran service organization working with active-duty members and veterans in complex crisis situations. She also worked with active-duty members and their families to provide resources and referrals to local and national resources for connection to emergency financial assistance.
